Getting started with WifiSignQR
WifiSignQR builds a standard Wi‑Fi QR payload from your network name and password, then draws it on a canvas in this tab. An optional second section encodes a vCard contact QR the same way. Nothing is uploaded to our servers.
Wi‑Fi QR in three minutes
- Open the generator on a staff or admin device you trust.
- Enter the SSID exactly as devices should see it (including spaces and capitalization).
- Choose security (prefer WPA/WPA2/WPA3). Enter the password, or choose Open if the network has none.
- Check Hidden network only if the SSID is not broadcast.
- Preview the QR, then use Print / PDF or Download PNG.
Optional: contact / vCard QR
Scroll to the Contact / vCard section. Fill name, phone, email, and organization. The page builds a VERSION:3.0 vCard string and previews it locally — useful for badges or simple business cards. Keep guest Wi‑Fi as the primary lobby sign; use vCard for people, not for passwords.
Safety habits
- Generate signs on a device guests cannot unlock.
- Close the tab when finished so the password is not left in memory.
- Do not email yourself a screenshot of the filled form from an untrusted kiosk.
